Le Grand Verdus Graviere 2020

Long time we guessed that Syrah could produce great wines in Bordeaux, pretending it is located on an impressive terroir. Our Syrah block of 1.1 ha was planted in 2017 on our steepest « parcelle » called « Gravière », south-facing, on clay/granitic gravel. Vine material originated from a « massal selection » of exceptional vineyards in Cornas (Rhône Valley), planted in 1929.
