About the Wine
Planted in 1974 (43 year old when harvested). Dry land bush vine on deep decomposed Malmesbury shale. Limited skin contact. Wild yeast ferment in older barrels with extended lees contact. The wine has exhibits apricot, pear and acacia blossom aromas on the nose. The palate is ample rounded and fruit driven and reveals faint well-integrated vanilla notes. An elegant finish for a good wine.
