About the Wine

Champagne Bertrand Deparnay, rooted in Cumières (Premier Cru, Vallée de la Marne), descends from Pierre Bertrand's 1946 legacy near Dom Pérignon's Hautvillers. Under Bertrand Deparnay since 2010, the family estate crafts terroir-focused Champagnes from south-facing Coteaux slopes blending chalk, clay, and limestone soils across Cumières, Hautvillers, Mardeuil, and Damery. Sustainable practices highlight Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay.

From Premier Cru marls, this cuvée marries Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. Pale gold with fine mousse, it offers pear, citrus zest, hawthorn, and chalky minerality. Crisp acidity, orchard fruits, subtle brioche, and a vibrant, lingering finish evoke Cumières' sunny elegance.
