As a Wine Lady, I sip my wine with elegance. This sparkling wine from South Africa is a true gem! Made with traditional Champagne method, it spends four years fermenting in the bottle, creating fine bubbles and a silky texture. With hints of nuts and golden apple, it pairs perfectly with seafood, salads, and even my beloved Dai Pai Dong street food! Join me for the delightful bubblelicious experience! Cheers!

About The Wine

This blend is a beautiful composition of 100% Chardonnay grapes, harvested from carefully selected vineyards in the Franschhoek and Robertson regions, using grapes which would yield the best qualities of finesse, freshness and elegance. Out of the 80% base wines from the current yearโ€™s harvest, 15% were barrel fermented, contributing to an exotic dimension of wooded characteristics in the blend. 20% of the composition comes from a special selection of the previous yearโ€™s harvest which was kept to mature in prime quality French oak barrels since fermentation, further contributing to the intense complexity and perfect harmony of the wine. This wine spends the longest time maturing in our cellar, with a minimum of 45 months on the lees, giving ample time for the maturation of the creamy and brioche characteristics. It has great evolution potential for up to six years.

Ratings

John Platter Wine Guide 5 Stars! โ€œUltra-fine blanc de blancs heads up impressive range. NV sophisticated and uncompromising, almost bone-dry with oaked portion (20%) and striking acidity enlivening roasted nut and Golden Delicious apple appeal, energising the satin mousse. 10% reserve wine, 45 months on lees.โ€
