About The Wine
Quest Old Vine Chenin Blanc is made from old vines planted in Breedekloof's sandstone soils. Components are matured in amphora clay pots, French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. Bright in colour with aromas of citrus, stone fruit and flowers that finish in delicate acidity with subtle vanilla, nuts and mineral characteristics. Every new vintage becomes a quest to create the different components to make up the perfect blend that meets the winemaker's requirements.
Quest Old Vine Chenin Blanc 2022 was awarded a gold medal with 95 points and one of only 30 gold medals awarded to South African entries in this year’s Decanter Awards. “...And of the nation’s 30 Golds, Breedekloof was awarded its second-ever Gold (last awarded in 2016) to Quest Wines, Old Vine Chenin Blanc 2022” - Decanter’s official press release by Olivia Mason.
