About the Wine
The objective of this stunning blend was to create a wine that could compete with the best, so no short-cuts were taken. Only the very best grapes were hand-picked from low-yielding, terroir-specific sites across the Western Cape. Once harvested, the varietals were blended and underwent fermentation and maturation in new French oak barrels for 15 months.
The final blend of Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon showcases robust tannins and excellent structure and concentration.
The wine holds a good balance of ripe fruits and a plethora of rich floral flavours on the palate. A beautiful Bordeaux-style blend with an intense dark ruby colour and perfectly balanced tannins.
