Domaine Michel Gay et Fils is a family estate with over 200 years of history. Situated at Chorey-lès-Beaune, a village appellation in the Côte de Beaune sub-region of Burgundy. The 2018 vintage in Burgundy was notable for being a very successful, warm, and dry year, resulting in wines with rich, ripe fruit profiles.
The Michel Gay et Fils Chorey-lès-Beaune Vieilles Vignes 2018 is an elegant and refined wine that balances fruitiness with earthy and spicy undertones.
Expressive aromas of small red fruits, such as raspberry and Morello cherry, complemented by notes of blackberry, licorice, and underbrush. With age, the bouquet may evolve to include strawberry preserves, gingerbread, and hints of leather or animal notes.
On the palate, it is well-built and balanced, offering a silky, charming texture with vibrant acidity and elegant, refined tannins. It is moderately tannic but rich, with a full fruit flavor that leaves a long, fruity aftertaste.
Drinkable now, but has the structure to age well, with a suggested drinking window through at least 2029.

口感結構穩固，平衡優雅，絲滑迷人，酸度活潑，單寧精緻。單寧適中而豐厚，果味充盈，餘韻悠長，果香縈繞。
現已可飲，然骨架堅實，陳年潛力佳，建議飲用期至少至二〇二九年。
