Odyssee 319 Grand Cru Brut Blanc de Blancs NV

Olivier Bonville and Ferdinand Ruelle are setting sail on their Odyssey from Avize, their historic home port.  In the heart of the Côte des Blancs, they have been working with Chardonnay for four generations, in the family winery located in the center of the village. They craft Blanc de Blancs from historic plots leased from their family and neighbors, forming the foundation of their Odyssey: five permanent cuvées that express the pure, faithful essence of ancestral know-how in Avize.

But their journey doesn’t stop there: every year, a special “curiosity cuvée” is born : Odyssée 319. Olivier and Ferdinand set off to explore, meeting passionate winegrowers, with the ambition of bringing back the fruits of their travels across all 319 villages of Champagne.

The typical characteristics of the wines from the Côte des Blancs are their maturity and fineness. Both can be found in this Champagne, after a long time of ageing in our cellars.

The beginning of the mouth is straight and turns into a beautiful freshness. Well balanced, stone fruit notes (plum and cherry plum) confer volume and length to this cuvee, worthy of the great Chardonnay Champagnes.
