Pierre Bertrand Blanc de Noirs Pinot Noir 2013
About the Wine
The nose offers a certain complexity as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of dry almond, sweet spices and slight notes of crushed nectarine associated with small touches of citron, quince, a hint of zest, discreet hints of small yellow flowers as well as a subtle hint of clove and block honey. The palate is fruity, fresh, balanced and offers a fresh frame. The effervescence is very fine and frank. On the palate, this Champagne expresses notes of fleshy crushed apple, fleshy/crushed yellow peach and slight notes of quince associated with a touch of citron, lemon zest as well as a discreet hint of mirabelle plum, pineapple, minerality racy and with a very discreet hint of spice.
